JENNIFER NICHOLSON

Hello Swole-mate! I’d like to start out by saying, “I am so happy you are here and have taken the next step to making yourself stronger, healthier and happier”.  I am a 10-year, U.S. Navy Veteran, married with 2 daughters and 4 dogs. My fitness journey started in the Navy. We were expected to stay within certain weight standards and perform exceptionally on our semi-annual physical assessments. Five years in, I found myself a runner and a good one at that. After being the highest scoring female at my command I was asked if I’d like to become a CFL (Command Fitness Leader) for my entire command. I attended a weeklong course on group exercise, individual exercise, proper stretching and nutrition. For 3 years, I really enjoyed building workouts and conducting them in a group setting. I assisted with running an additional program to help sailors struggling with physical fitness or weight standards. After leaving the military, I found Element 26 and loved the workouts and environment. It reminded me of the workouts I

used to do and how much I missed it. After a few years attending the gym, they were looking for new coaches and I decided to volunteer. It was finally a chance for me to get back to what I loved doing.

My personal interests include road/ trail running, crafting, riding my gravel bike, going to the beach, loving on my pups and exploring everything imaginable with my daughters!! As a member I expect you to push as hard as you can every class and challenge yourself. As a coach, I will be here to motivate, encourage and praise you along the way!!! Fitness is physical and mental, just give it your all and the results will follow. It is a lifestyle change and you must stay consistent!

"It’s you vs. you once you enter that door, never quit on yourself!"
